Role overview
Job Title: HR Assistant Department: Human Resources Reports to: Head of Governance and Internal Audit Location: UAE, Sharjah
- Job Purpose To support the daily HR operations by handling administrative and documentation tasks, maintaining employee records, and assisting in payroll, recruitment, and government-related processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and proper implementation of company policies.
- Key Responsibilities HR Administration
- Maintain and update employee files, ERP records, and physical and digital documentation.
- Prepare HR letters, certificates, warnings, and internal forms. Payroll Support
- Assist in collecting payroll data (attendance, leaves, deductions, overtime).
- Prepare payroll inputs and submit them to Finance
- Maintain confidentiality of salary information.
- Support final settlement preparation when required. Recruitment Support
- Assist the Recruiter in publishing, filtering CVs scheduling interviews.
- Ensure all onboarding documents are signed and complete. Government & PRO Coordination
- Prepare documents required for visas, labour contracts, and renewals.
- Coordinate with PRO for employee transactions.
- Track expiry dates for visas, labour cards, and IDs.
- Maintain records of government documents. Employee Records & Compliance
- Ensure employee files are complete and updated.
- Maintain confidentiality of HR records.
- Follow company policies in all HR documentation.
- Support audits when requested.
- Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in HR
- Knowledge of UAE Labour Law is preferred.
- Experience in excel is an advantage.
- Skills & Competencies
- Good organizational and communication skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to handle confidential information.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and work under pressure. Coordination with: Recruiter – PRO – Department Heads – Finance
