We're Hiring | Consultant Pediatrician – Acute Care 📍 Location: Abu Dhabi 💼 Employment Type: Full-Time We are seeking an experienced Consultant Pediatrician – Acute Care to provide expert medical care to infants, children, and adolescents presenting with acute and complex medical conditions. The successful candidate will lead clinical management, support multidisciplinary teams, and ensure high standards of pediatric patient care.
Key Responsibilities • Provide consultant-level assessment and management of acutely ill pediatric patients. • Diagnose and treat a wide range of acute pediatric medical conditions. • Manage pediatric emergencies and stabilize critically ill patients. • Develop and oversee individualized treatment plans. • Review investigations, imaging, and laboratory results. • Provide clinical leadership and guidance to pediatric medical teams. • Coordinate care with emergency medicine, ICU, surgery, nursing, and allied health teams. • Perform appropriate pediatric procedures within the scope of practice. • Communicate effectively with parents and families regarding diagnosis and treatment. • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and medical records. • Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement, teaching, and training. • Ensure compliance with DOH regulations, hospital policies, and patient safety standards.
Requirements Qualifications • MBBS/MD or equivalent medical degree. • Recognized postgraduate qualification in Pediatrics. • Appropriate Consultant-level experience and credentials in Pediatric Acute Care. • DOH Abu Dhabi license or eligibility . • Valid professional registration and Good Standing Certificate. • Strong leadership, clinical decision-making, and communication skills.
