Manufacturing Engineer – Designer

Job Summary: Gilani Mobility is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Manufacturing Engineer – Designer to support the design, development, and manufacturing of automotive, mobility, and accessibility solutions. The role bridges engineering design and production by ensuring products are manufacturable, cost-effective, and compliant with quality and safety standards. Key Responsibilities Design & Engineering: Design and modify mechanical components, assemblies, and systems using SolidWorks and AutoCAD Prepare detailed manufacturing drawings, BOMs, and technical specifications Support product development from concept through production and implementation Conduct design reviews and implement improvements for manufacturability and efficiency Support prototyping, testing, and validation of new and modified designs Manufacturing Support: Collaborate with production teams to ensure designs are optimized for fabrication and assembly Provide technical support during manufacturing, installation, and commissioning Identify and resolve design-related production issues Support process improvements to enhance productivity, quality, and cost efficiency Analysis & Compliance: Perform basic engineering calculations and design checks as required Support equipment testing and performance evaluations Ensure designs comply with ISO 9001 quality standards and relevant engineering codes Maintain proper engineering documentation and revision control Coordination & Reporting: Work closely with Engineering, Production, Quality, and Procurement teams Prepare technical reports, drawings, and project documentation Participate in continuous improvement and innovation initiatives Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field Experience in mechanical design and manufacturing engineering roles Proficiency in CAD software: SolidWorks and AutoCAD Understanding of manufacturing processes, fabrication, and assembly methods Familiarity with HVAC systems, automotive components, or mobility products is an advantage Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management systems Experience with 3D printing or prototyping technologies is a plus Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills Good command of Microsoft Office applications Work Conditions: Factory and engineering office environment Hands-on coordination with production teams Working hours as per company policy Salary & Benefits: Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications UAE visa and benefits in accordance with UAE labor law
