Role overview

Driven Properties a Dubai real estate brokerage and the exclusive UAE affiliate of Forbes Global Properties, is seeking a bilingual Paralegal / Junior Lawyer to join its in-house Legal Department. This role supports the Head of Legal across contract drafting, regulatory compliance, and dispute resolution matters for Driven Properties and its group companies (Refine Associates Real Estate L.L.C., Lamar Development LLC, Commercial Business Brokers LLC, and Driven Property Management). The successful candidate will work on a high volume of transactional documents and provide litigation support across Dubai and Abu Dhabi Courts and the Rental Disputes Centre (RDC), making this an excellent opportunity for a driven junior legal professional to build deep expertise in UAE real estate law.

Key Responsibilities Contract Drafting & Review • Draft, review, and redline Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs), Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), and Non-Circumvention/Non-Disclosure Agreements (NCNDAs) • Prepare and review Commission Share Agreements between brokers/agents and third parties • Support the drafting and review of Sale and Purchase Agreements (SPAs) and related transactional documentation • Assist with Agreement of Sale (Form F), reservation forms, and other RERA-prescribed contract templates • Maintain and update the department's contract templates and precedent bank Litigation & Dispute Resolution • Provide support on case files before the Dubai Courts, including preparation of pleadings, evidence bundles, and court filings • Assist with matters before the Rental Disputes Centre (RDC), including tenancy and rental disputes • Liaise with external counsel and track case status, deadlines, and hearing dates • Prepare case summaries, legal memoranda, and status reports for the General Counsel Regulatory & Compliance Support • Assist with RERA, DLD, and Trakheesi-related filings and compliance matters • Support AML/DNFBP compliance documentation and record-keeping • Assist with RERA complaint responses and agent-to-agent dispute matters General Legal Support • Maintain organized legal files, contract registers, and correspondence logs • Draft formal correspondence and legal letters in both English and Arabic • Support the General Counsel on ad hoc legal research and administrative tasks

Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in law (LLB) or equivalent • Minimum 1–3 years of relevant experience, ideally within a real estate, brokerage, or property development environment in the UAE • Prior experience drafting MOUs, NDAs, and Commission Share Agreements is required • Working familiarity with SPA structures and general real estate transactional documentation • Prior exposure to Dubai / Federal Courts and/or RDC proceedings is required • Bilingual: fluency in Arabic and English strongly preferred; strong written and spoken command of English is essential • Excellent legal drafting and document review skills • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail • Ability to manage multiple files and deadlines in a fast-paced brokerage environment • Working knowledge of UAE real estate regulatory frameworks (RERA, DLD) is an advantage
