Role overview
Key Responsibilities • Serve as the technical subject matter expert and point of contact for the project • Collaborate with the project manager to develop and execute the technical implementation plan • Lead and coordinate the activities of the vendor technical teams to ensure alignment and timely delivery • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the project team, fostering knowledge sharing and skill development • Identify and mitigate technical risks, proactively addressing any issues that may arise • Ensure the deployment and configuration of the cloud technologies meet the project's functional and performance requirements • Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including system architecture, configurations, and procedures • Support the testing and validation of the implemented solutions, working closely with the project stakeholders • Facilitate knowledge transfer to the client's IT team, enabling them to effectively manage and maintain the deployed systems.
Requirements • Strong technical expertise and hands-on experience in cloud technologies, particularly with Red Hat OpenStack, Palo Alto Networks, F5, and IBM Watson Cloud Pak • Thorough understanding of the local IT landscape and cultural nuances in Iraq to effectively lead technical initiatives and drive successful outcomes • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to quickly identify and resolve complex technical issues • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders • Demonstrated experience in leading technical teams and mentoring junior team members • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies Preferred Qualifications • Relevant technical certifications (e.g., Red Hat Certified Engineer, Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Administrator, IBM Certified Solution Architect) • Experience in the deployment and integration of complex, multi-vendor IT solutions • Knowledge of the Iraqi IT and business landscape
